My Why.

Belle of the Leaves has been on my mind for a long time. I need community. I crave unity. I want to teach, learn, and grow—and grow things. I want to make the world a better place. I want to share my experiences. I feel like I have something to say, and I want to make an impact. This is my foundation, the place where I can build my message. Is that too corny?

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. -Martin Luther King, Jr)

When I was working toward my associate degree at Daytona State College, a few classes completely reshaped my perspective. I became fascinated with environmental science, sustainability, and the importance of growing your own food. But I also realized something deeper—the connection between personal relationships and the way we engage with the world around us.

That semester was a turning point for me, and Belle of the Leaves is a continuation of that journey. It’s not just about my personal experiences—it’s about pushing forward a revolutionary movement that empowers people. Sustainability isn’t just an ideal; it’s a vital part of the change we need in society.

One day, Belle of the Leaves will go beyond the digital space. There will be a physical place where people can come together to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in self-sufficiency, regenerative living, and sustainability. A place where knowledge is shared, skills are built, and a new way forward becomes possible.

For now, this is the foundation. But the vision is much bigger.
